To start your journey in unlocking the Skyscale Mount, you will have to perform various tasks.
You will start with part 1, the Newborn Skyscales achievement to unlock the Skyscale Mount.
All items/objectives can be found throughout the map. In this guide all locations have been reached while only using the Springer mount and borrowing the Skyscale mount by interacting with a Skyscale Roost. Keep note that not all waypoints are always open, they open depending on how far the meta event has progressed. Also there are depending on how far meta progressed usable Shrines which you can teleport to. They are sometimes closer to the location then the given waypoints.
Some locations can be reached easier/faster when having a Griffon and/or the Bond of Vigor and Faith Mastery unlock skill.
First you have to interact with Gorrik to start the collection. (Only possible when you’ve completed the story)
1. Go to The Underworld Waypoint and then go South, speak with Gorrik to recieve “A Dire Issue” which unlocks the other achievements.
2. For the next item “Skyscale Scales” we have to complete the Skyscale Scales achievement.
This achievement requires finding 21 Skyscale Scales.

Now that we have the Skyscale Scales we have to return to Gorrik again.
3. The next item we need is “Skyscale Medicine”, this requires completen of the Skyscale Medicine achievement.
This achievement requires the completion of 30 events around dragonfall and to purchase a few items afterwards.

4. Now that we have the Skyscale Medicine we have to return to Gorrik again.
He will give the “A Hopefull Cure” item after speaking with him, and unlock the Skyscale Fever achievement.
5. For the next item “Skyscale Fever” we have to complete the Skyscale Fever achievement.
This achievement requires finding 14 Sick Skyscale.

6. Now that we have the Skyscale Fever we have to return to Gorrik again.
He will give the “A Sad Discovery” item after speaking with him, and unlock the Skyscale Eggs achievement.
7. For the next item “Skyscale Eggs” we have to complete the Skyscale Eggs achievement.
This achievement requires finding 21 Skyscale Eggs.

8. Now that we have the Skyscale Fever we have to return to Gorrik again.
He will give the “A Benevolent Mission” item after speaking with him.
Now we completed the Newborn Skyscales achievement.
To progress you will have to wait 1 day, the day after you will receive a mail to start part 2.
