Frostfang 1: The Experimental Axe

To start your journey in making the Legendary Precursor Tooth of Frostfang and perhaps the Legendary Frostfang afterwards, you will have to perform various tasks.
You will start with the first tier precursor for building Tooth of Frostfang.

And the following materials: 50 5 5 10 10 10 10 2

First you have to unlock the, Frostfang 1: The Experimental Axe Collection, you will need to have the first line trained in The Legendary Crafting Mastery to be able to buy the required item to start.

When you have the first line completed you are allowed to speak with Grandmaster Craftsman Hobbs [Legendary Crafting].

Go to Trader’s Forum Waypoint [&BBAEAAA=] and walk West, speak with Grandmaster Craftsman Hobbs [Legendary Crafting] and buy the, Frostfang Vol. 1 for 5 and 10,003 .

Now use the item and you will have the collection unlocked.

1: The first item needed for our collection is: Destroyer Jar.

“Purchase the recipe for this jar from Grandmaster Craftsman Hobbs”.

Go to Trader’s Forum Waypoint [&BBAEAAA=] and walk West, speak with Grandmaster Craftsman Hobbs [Legendary Crafting], click on the 5th tab and purchase the item “Recipe: Destroyer Jar” for 5,005 .

You can combine this step with Step 4, 7, 10 and 13 by purchasing all Jar Recipes and crafting all the Jar recipes once.

Use the recipe on a character where you have trained the crafting profession Weaponsmith, with crafting lvl 350+. After that visit a Weaponsmithing Station, here you can craft the new learned recipe (Destroyer Jar (Exotic)), after making 1 your done with this step.

2: The next item for our collection is: Essence of Primordus.

“Use a Destroyer Jar after defeating the Megadestroyer in Mount Maelstrom to fill it with essence”.

Go to Maelstrom’s Waypoint [&BM0CAAA=] and walk North, you will get this item by using the Destroyer Jar after completing the event “Kill the megadestroyer before it blows everyone up“. (Keep note the Group Event “Kill the megadestroyer before it blows everyone up” has to be active) The Megadestroyer is a world boss in Mount Maelstrom.

3: Distilled Essence of Primordus.

“Distill your captured Essence of Primordus in the caves below the Dominion Killing Zone in Kessex Hills”.

Go to Overlake Haven Waypoint [&BBMAAAA=] and walk East, you will get this item by using the Essence of Primordus in the area around Mafic Core (Point of Interest) [&BPcFAAA=].

4: Corrupted Jar.

“Purchase the recipe for this jar from Grandmaster Craftsman Hobbs”.

Go to Trader’s Forum Waypoint [&BBAEAAA=] and walk West, speak with Grandmaster Craftsman Hobbs [Legendary Crafting], click on the 5th tab and purchase the item “Recipe: Corrupted Jar” for 5,005 .

Use the recipe on a character where you have trained the crafting profession Weaponsmith, with crafting lvl 350+. After that visit a Weaponsmithing Station, here you can craft the new learned recipe (Corrupted Jar (Exotic)), after making 1 your done with this step.

5: Essence of Jormag.

“Use a Corrupted Jar after defeating the Claw of Jormag in Frostgorge Sound to fill it with essence”.

Go to Earthshake Waypoint [&BHoCAAA=] and walk West, you will get this item by using the Corrupted Jar after completing the event “Defeat the Claw of Jormag”. (Keep note the Group Event “Defeat the Claw of Jormag” has to be active) The Claw of Jormag is a world boss in Frostgorge Sound, see World Boss Timer for when it will be active).

6: Distilled Essence of Jormag.

“Distill your captured Essence of Jormag near the frost portal in the Drakkar Spurs Region of Frostgorge Sound”.

Go to Drakkar Waypoint [&BIYCAAA=] and walk East/South, you will get this item by using the Essence of Jormag in the area around the Frost Portal (Hero Challenge).

7: Evergreen Jar.

“Purchase the recipe for this jar from Grandmaster Craftsman Hobbs”.

Use the recipe on a character where you have trained the crafting profession Weaponsmith, with crafting lvl 350+. After that visit a Weaponsmithing Station, here you can craft the new learned recipe (Evergreen Jar (Exotic)), after making 1 your done with this step.

8: Essence of Mordremoth.

“Use an Evergreen Jar after defeating the Vinewrath in Silverwastes to fill it with essence”.

You will get this item by using the Evergreen Jar after completing the event “Defeat the Mordrem Vinewrath’s champion” at the area of Vinewrath Tangle (Point of Interest) [&BLcHAAA=]. (Keep note the Group Event “Defeat the Mordrem Vinewrath’s champion” has to be active) The Vinewrath is a world boss in the Silverwastes.

9: Distilled Essence of Mordremoth.

“Distill your captured Essence of Mordremoth at the Corpse Grove in Verdant Brink”.

Go to Mellaggan’s Valor Waypoint [&BNUHAAA=] and walk North, you will get this item by using the Essence of Mordremoth in the area around the Corpse Grove (Point of Interest) [&BPAHAAA=].

10: Crystal Jar.

“Purchase the recipe for this jar from Grandmaster Craftsman Hobbs”.

12: Distilled Essence of Kralkatorrik.

“Distill your captured Essence of Kralkatorrik in the branded waterfall above Lake Desolann in the Iron Marches”.

13: Vile Jar.

14: Essence of Zhaitan.

15: Distilled Essence of Zhaitan.

“Distill your captured Essence of Zhaitan at the Gates of Arah in Cursed Shore”.

Go to Arah Waypoint [&BCADAAA=], you will get this item by using the Essence of Zhaitan in this area.
