Bolt 1: The Experimental Sword Guide

To start your journey in making the Legendary Precursor Zap and perhaps the Legendary Bolt afterwards, you will have to perform various tasks.
You will start with the first tier precursor for building Zap.

Total costs: 5 8 88 and 13.419

First you have to unlock the, Bolt 1: The Experimental Sword Collection you will need to have the first line trained in The Legendary Crafting Mastery to be able to buy the required item to start.

When you have the first line completed you are allowed to speak with Grandmaster Craftsman Hobbs [Legendary Crafting].

Go to Trader’s Forum Waypoint [&BBAEAAA=] and walk West, speak with Grandmaster Craftsman Hobbs [Legendary Crafting] and buy the Bolt Vol. 1 for 5 and 10,003 .

Now use the item and you will have the collection unlocked.

1: The first item needed for our collection is: Eir’s Advice.

“Find Eir’s Notes on sculpting inside her home at Stonewright’s Steading in Hoelbrak”.

Go to Eastern Watchpost [&BI0DAAA=] and start walking South, there you will find a instance entry Stonewright’s Steading.
In the instance walk inside the building u will then find the Scroll Case on your left.

2: The next item for our collection is: Malchor’s Notes.

“Find Malchor’s ancient notes on sculpting the gods at the Cathedral of Zephyrs”.

You will get this item from the chest after you have defeated the possessed statue of Dwayna [&BIwCAAA=].

3: Tirzie’s Perspective.

“Speak to Tirzie in the Olaf Escarpments in Queensdale about painting”.

Go to Godlost Waypoint [&BPwAAAA=] and walk North/East up the hill, speak with Tirzie the Painter and select “Do you have any advice you could give me for painting”.

4: Proteus’ Tips.

“Speak to Proteus Formshaper in the Canton Factorium in the Black Citadel”.

Go to Factorium Waypoint [&BKcDAAA=] and walk West, speak with Proteus Formshaper.

5: Pixx’s Insight.

“Speak to Synergetics Expert Pixx in Rata Sum about melding metal and energy”.

Go to Metrical Court Waypoint [&BBMEAAA=] and walk South, speak with Synergetics Expert Pixx and select “I’m Looking for insight about melding metal and energy safely”.

6: Kandien’s Thoughts.

“Speak to Kandien in the Grove about sylvari artwork”.

Go to Upper Commons Waypoint [&BLoEAAA=] and walk North, speak with Kandien and select “Do you have any suggestions for improving my skill at art?”.

7: Hylek Artistic Perspective.

“Find a refugee in Zintl Holy Grounds in Sparkfly Fen who can tell you about hylek artwork”.

Go to Zintl Holy Grounds Waypoint [&BMgBAAA=] and walk South, speak with Refugee and select “Your work with colors is impressive. Could you give me some advice?”.

8: Quaggan Sculpture Teachings.

“Find a quaggan who can tell about quaggan sculpture at Orsippus in Frostgorge Sound.

Go to Dimotiki Waypoint [&BH8CAAA=] and swim down West, go inside the big quaggan building you will find 2 Villagers there, speak with the right Villager and select “Could you teach me about sculpting?”.

9: Sylvari Plant Sculpting Techniques.

“Talk to Yhrinnage in the Burnt Hollow in Fireheart Rise about plant sculpting”.

Go to Havoc Waypoint [&BBsCAAA=] and walk North inside the cave, when inside walk West you will find Yhrinnage inside a tent there. Speak with Yhrinnage and select “I am interested in learning more about plant sculpting”.

10: Dierdre’s Perspective.

“Talk to Dierdre in the Hidden Garden jumping puzzle upon its completion”

To get here you will have to kill 1 of the 4 portal guardian events. After killing a portal will open that will give acces to Dierdre’s Steps Hidden Garden jumping puzzle.

Defeat the Keepers of Earth (63): Sootberme, south east of Criterion Waypoint [&BMkCAAA=]. Takes you to a portal on the East side of Dierdre’s Steps
Defeat the Keeper of Light (65): Ashen Waste, north then slightly west of Avernan Waypoint [&BM8CAAA=] / south and slightly to the east of Ashen Waypoint. Takes you to a portal on the Southwest side of Dierdre’s Steps
Defeat the Keeper of Waves (68): Gauntlet Gulch, north of Oxbow Isle Waypoint [&BNECAAA=]. Takes you to a portal on the Southeast side of Dierdre’s Steps
Defeat the Keeper of Winds (68): The Stychs, southeast of Irwin Isle Waypoint [&BNICAAA=]. Takes you to a portal on the West side of Dierdre’s Steps

If you already completed the puzzle before you can directly go to Dierdre, if not, you will have to do the puzzle first.

Speak with Dierdre and select “I am seeking insights about artistry”.

11: Intricately Carved Orrian Relic.

“Artistic expression purchased from Explorer Loana in Cursed Shore after protecting her from the Risen King”

Go to Meddler’s Waypoint [&BB4DAAA=] and walk East, if the event is not completed you will have to do the event first (Protect Explorer Loana and defeat the Risen King).

Speak with Explorer Loana and purchase the 3d item “Intricately Carved Orrian Relic” for 2 64 .

12: Archdiviner’s Talisman.

“Looted from the chest after defeating the Legendary Archdiviner in the Cliffside Fractal (Scale 7)”.

You will get this item from the chest after you have defeated the Legendary Archdiviner at the end of the Cliffside Fractal.

13: Ancient Figurine.

“A figurine carried by krait in the Aquatic Ruins Fractal”.

You will get this item as drop from any Krait inside the Aquatic Ruins Fractal (Scale 3).

14: Painted Mokooki Hunter’s Pottery.

“Artistic expression purchased from Mokooki in Dredgehaunt Cliffs after helping the grawl stave off Svanir attacks”.

Go to Mountain’s Tail Waypoint [&BGECAAA=] and walk West, speak with Mokooki and purchase the 1st item “Painted Mokooki Hunter’s Pottery” for 700 . Do keep note that you can only purchase this after you have completed the renown heart, Help the grawl stave off Svanir attacks.

15: Little Norn Figurine.

“Artistic expression purchased from Shengra in Snowden Drifts after impressing the Mennerheim steadholders”.

Go to Lornar’s Waypoint [&BLQAAAA=] and walk East, speak with Shengra and purchase the 9th item “Little Norn Figurine” for 441 . Do keep note that you can only purchase this after you have completed the renown heart, Impress the Mennerheim steadholders.

16: Fiendish Grawl Artwork.

“Artistic expression purchased from Skaald Fearin in Wayfarer Foothills after disrupting the grawl worship”.

Go to Grawlenfjord Waypoint [&BMMDAAA=] and walk North, speak with Skaald Fearin and purchase the “Fiendish Grawl Artwork” for 70 . Do keep note that you can only purchase this after you have completed the renown heart, Disrupt grawl worship.

17: Mini Mighty Oouo.

“Artistic expression purchased from Sizza in Timerbline Falls after scattering the unusually agressive grawl”.

Go to Ogduk Waypoint [&BE0CAAA=] and walk North, speak with Sizza and purchase the 1st item “Mini Mighty Oouo” for 791 . Do keep note that you can only purchase this after you have completed the renown heart, Scatter the unusually aggressive grawl.

18: Flame Legion Carving.

“Artistic expression purchased from Corva Sharpclaw in Fireheart Rise after stopping the Flame Legion from summoning embers”.

Go to Havoc Waypoint [&BBsCAAA=] and walk South, speak with Corva Sharpclaw and purchase the 1st item “Flame Legion Carving” for 469 . Do keep note that you can only purchase this after you have completed the renown heart, Stop the Flame Legion from summoning embers.

19: Wupwup God Icon.

“Artisctic expression purchased from the Wupwup Chief in Fireheart Rise after helping the Wupwup tribe survive so close to Flame lands”.

Go to Apostate Waypoint [&BB0CAAA=] and walk South, speak with Wupwup Chief and purchase the 2nd item “Wupwup God Icon” for 945 . Do keep note that you can only purchase this after you have completed the renown heart, Help the Wupwup tribe survive so close to Flame lands.

20: Ancient Orrian Urn.

“Artistic expression purchased from Scholar Nabbi in Straits of Devastation after helping to clear out the risen from the graveyard outside of Zaishen Antheneum”.

Go to Antheneum Waypoint [&BPUCAAA=] and walk South/East, if the event is not completed you will have to do the event first.

Speak with Scholar Nabbi and purchase the 3d item “Ancient Orrian Urn” for 6 24 .

21: Old Ascalonian Relic.

“A relic carried by Ascalonians in the Urban Battleground Fractal”.

You will get this item as drop from any Ascalonian, within the city of the Urban Battleground Fractal (Scale 1).

Rewards:
